Photo Friday – Valencia’s City of Arts and Science

In my almost 6 years living in Madrid, I have been lucky enough to explore much of the Spain. One city that always escaped my travel plans had always been Valencia. I don’t know why it took so long for me to get there, but its one spectacular city. The city’s main attraction, besides its popular port where they’ve hosted the America’s Cup, is Calatrava’s City of Arts and Sciences.

Since the whole “city” is just so spectacular that its almost indescribable, I’ll just throw down some photos for your viewing pleasure. Trying to describe this thing hurts my brain too much…

Well, how does one describe this thing?
Still at a loss of adjectives here...
This one reminds me of a monster?
Snow peaked ice mountain thingy?
Blinking, Floating eyeball
This is supposed to be a whale, I think?
floating eye ball, whale spine, and snow capped blue that?
